I’m Sal Battaglia, a commercial growth and strategy leader focused on building organizations that scale.
For over 20 years my work has sat at the intersection of business development, operations, and technology. I’ve led sales organizations, launched go-to-market strategies, negotiated national partnerships, and helped companies move from founder-led growth to structured, repeatable performance.
Earlier in my career at Seacore Seafood, I led national sales and marketing initiatives that helped grow the business from a $30M regional company to a $100M+ multi-channel operation across retail, distribution, and foodservice. That experience shaped how I approach business: growth comes from understanding customers deeply, aligning incentives, and building teams that know how to execute consistently.
Since then I’ve worked across SaaS, consulting, investment, and nonprofit leadership roles. As Chief Revenue Officer in both a services firm and a SaaS analytics platform, I built customer acquisition strategies, pricing models, and partner channels while leading digital marketing initiatives including paid search and performance marketing. Today, in my leadership role with The Salvation Army, I design scalable service and vendor models across hundreds of locations, bringing together finance, operations, and technology to improve decision-making and accountability.
I’m particularly interested in how data and artificial intelligence are changing how organizations grow. I completed certification in Artificial Intelligence for Business and actively apply analytics and automation to improve commercial performance, forecasting, and operational strategy.
What motivates me most is building systems that outlast individuals — clear operating models, strong teams, and customer relationships based on trust and measurable value. I enjoy working with organizations at inflection points: expansion, transformation, or professionalization.
Outside of work, I’m grateful for an incredible partner and three amazing children. I spend time on investment projects, mentoring early-career professionals, and coaching youth sports. I’m always open to conversations about business growth, partnerships, and new ideas.
